CatMonarchy An impressive progressive metal album that's weird, whacky, and all-over-the-place in all of the best ways. Favorite track: Succulent.

Donald Wilson I feel like I haven't said enough. This album is beautiful, and haunting, and surprisingly close to home right now. This album was, more or less, ahead of it's time when it first came out., because with everything that's gone on this past year and a half, you'd think Bird Problems abstracted the future. Present now. Every time I listen to these songs, I can only think of the irony of it all, deliciously told through haunting screams, and great instrumentals. Favorite track: Wasteland.

alexthesock This album is a product of pure passion, hard work and love. It is apparent that everybody involved with its production were heavily invested in the music enough to make sure it comes to fruition.Veritably a masterpiece, every track leaves you on the edge of your seat. 5 stars.

Truly a triumph Favorite track: Wasteland.

Invocation 02:24
Sing to me, oh, Muses dual You've roped me along Why won't you sever my thread? Cause I am Well poised as poison We rot, stagnating Stripped of the shreds that were worth redeeming Thoughts dispersing as seed Tend to soil the soil of Our gardens rich in bones All their bones Believe it Bless you, For coming along with me I pass judgement: distributed A crooked symmetry Well I face judgement: distributed
2.
Claw 03:37
Downwards plunge Into a world unmistaken Crass and forsaken Left here without a trace Besides the one we acquired Naturally inspired to rise and investigate Curiosity stings the eyes Fickle composition Failed recognition towards the Upcoming substrate We thought that we struck gold Well worth its weight if sold But a screech led us to Reevaluate Outer crust like broken glass Intuition's game We were held back and poisoned A fiery mantle cocked Apollo’s burning rage Set to blow us away We are the first cursed, Forefathers of Hell Crushed, coughing, blackened blood No use, living, a life infused with tar A stanchion came smashing down A stone-cold mezzanine His legs are all but lost Now all’s said and done We were held back and poisoned Why is the tourniquet burning?

Quarantine 04:34
Watch me spin out of line You know I said you… You taught me how to fly And open up their eyes You’ve granted us a chance... To be more human Well I'll appeal to plans that allow us to Spread redemptive truths and mobilize I know that many will resist, The hypocrites are killing day by day. Well I know we'll end this passive war And I know we'll even out the score Now, as we spin out of line We will part the sea Oceans of understanding We’ll impart and see Our ripples will travel the world Open your mind To something effervescent And our deniers Are growing grimmer With persistence Hail... See how our god was locked away Hail... So I could rise up in his place Maybe I was born just to rise up through this camp When all my life’s been fodder for this dream So cast down your lot, and hope it spells my name I promise we will Proteize Our eyes Stay trained upon the enemy Circumscribe That crooked noble family of Bigots!
4.
Lush 02:18
I used to walk in winter, like a child – mesmerized I relinquish myself to the memory Its grip tightens and I drift away My eyes are assaulted, sunlight trying To tunnel through my eyelids Boots in weathered slush Disrupt a pattern of daily rush Every time I decide to move, I transform the universe All of our senses are so incredibly lush We’re under house arrest With no one to reflect my motives We’re under house arrest Never to be seen again
5.
Bless you for inviting me to speak My work has echoed in obscurity  For far too long now It deals, of course, with the ailment known as Tar You know I'd like to suggest (you know he’d like to suggest) That it doesn't touch our temperament So close your eyes and throw yourself In the place of another Oh please don't let this be my eulogy to humanity  A concept so foregone: There once arose a school of thought Slowly eroded, they believed in the greatest good For the greatest number,  There was no fine print No self-indulgent, overpopulated paranoid deportation You know that time separates So lonely is division We’re lost in mind Our plight demonstrates Subjective is our vision We're lost in mind Time separates Lonely is division Now we're lost in mind There was no fine print No self-indulgent, overpopulated paranoid deportations  You know that all of my research suggests This toxic turn away From our humanity Was unfounded Well I acquired and breathed The dark air into my lungs And yes, there were effects but They were all aesthetic Confirming what you've known Deep down all along The sickness is social (And they're a product of mistreatment Well worth redeeming) Why won’t you sever my thread? Backed into a corner  Your ignorance was bearing down on me I am one of them And you are the monsters

da$$munny 00:35
“That’s money”
7.
I always knew My inquiry Would mutate its way into disaster Eyes shut, patiently, and waiting For something to go wrong Unlucky me, I wasn’t meant to be This handheld fattened pig On and on upon this path we’re drawn Together friend and foe alike The battlecries of the empty Echo through this crowded hall Bounding freely from wall to wall to wall We never listen, just wait to speak And now the speaker’s gone and sprung a leak Is it wrong to wish that I had clawed my way up? As if it would have changed a thing The recipe calls for a handful of suffering To build that perfect character And force the narrator to spare me I avow: cast aside your differences None of that matters now No, I maintain, I deserve to be saved I’m different, I’m special – inspiring Hah, you’ve been played Words fall short Desperately clawing for ledgers The fate of songs forgotten: Well I can’t quite remember them A lot of people out there don’t want to listen They just want to hear And many with the means to convey Still hold back what they hold dear So on this platform and through this platform I need to craft words sincere Even if each individual’s experience Might differ From ear to ear None of them knowing quite who to despise Through the hatred and tar dripping into their eyes Maybe I’m a hypocrite Maybe you are too And that’s okay It means we’re thinking Interpret away, interpret your way Out from this crawlspace Never knowing quite who to despise Through the tar dripping into their eyes All it takes is one contaminant All it takes is one (Hail…see how our god was locked away) (Hail…so I could rise up in his place)

Wasteland 08:09
I wish that moment had lasted an eternity With which I could handle the creatures around me Tearing the flesh from my kin A martyr in mind but a coward in practice appears Delivers a sermon of falls upon deaf ears And nobody’s ears but his own. I wish that I was not overcome And worth redeeming But everything I built was under the Guise of greater good Is this even remorse? I should have thrown myself Between their mangled teeth and my people But I was partial to my skin Now I’ve left you all All alone With a crack, they hit the ground Like fallen angels all around me The soundtrack was sickening Then descended the vultures Maddened with sickness and hunger alike You all look to me as if I have an answer Your Aspirer aspires for respite And a vessel to harbor the night Come on, look to me as if I have an answer Your Denier denies you his right Crash, it’s all the same Clawing at this foothold Running in circles is growing insane Over my dead fable Running in circles is growing insane (And getting your thoughts straight, inaner yet) And I ran Left the turmoil behind me How I ran From the chaos of my craft Please forgive me, I tried so hard to make a difference Decompose here until the end In wasteland I am the bastard of this realm I was a jester in a crown My people’s remains above the ground Cause I’m a coward No! I buried you When I was all you needed Their misguided worship A captain retreated I’ll outrun the day I’ll outrun today in cowardice
9.
Succulent 04:10
For every brick that I have laid And every glimmer of the spade I hang between myself and the fallen Now at my door you congregate This is my space, this is mine! Legacy, averting my eyes, it’s over So keep your knife trained, stay true to the Path that brought you into my sight Now have you come to punish me, Philomela? You know my face, The mask from which you draw your name: Trespasser The man I knew died weeks ago Yea this is just a shell Now I implore you To keep the howling down And let us sleep Well you’ve inherited this pain Don't wrap me up in your Modicum misery Rise from the earth, my chosen Up from your knees and face me Brother Get out of my head We, the kings of our time Now you've come again just to Oust me shamelessly, usurper Don’t wrap me up in your bodiless Modicum misery, scavenging for what to eat All you've locked away Has come kicking, screaming Remnants of our fate How our heroes have fallen Every day you walked around I was waiting on my pound Of flesh You’ll be crooked, never found I'll be feeding overground Lah-dah-dah Lah-dah-dah Lah-dah-dah Ha-ha-ha-ha, yes
10.
Imbroglio 02:41
With cartilage dribbling down my chin (I led a succulent following) Their temperament as tender as their skin (I led a succulent following) It sustained me (I led a succulent following) Please sustain Hide behind The curtains of your eyes And watch from afar Hunger, struggle Or satisfied immobility The epitome of Sensation
11.
You are all beyond choosing So don’t follow my lead But I swear to you, unfaltering We'll make it through the week Inhabitants We share our plight And we will rise tonight If we so choose We've been picked off and plundered  So we cry to our thunderous fate But with little cohesion I promise you We'll storm the gate  If we so choose But if it were up to me You know I'd thirst for justice This idol who left us to die But if it were up to me You know I'd thirst for justice And render the traitor a mortal before his own eyes Faith has always wrought Bottom-feeders I lack precision but I have tact I lack persistence but I abstract I got you wondering  Was it worth it after all? Recourse, he robbed us of All of his promises  Recourse Hail…see how our god was Locked away Reach for Resolution  This ends tonight I'm breaking This open, written word Unbreaking, this overarching world Where I'm unlimited  And I'm shaking As the earth that twists in front of us And I'm breaking apart within my soul We followed him Sovereign All of them I would fight back  I lack precision but I have tact I lack persistence but I abstract I got you wondering  Was it worth it after all? We followed him Sovereign All of them I would fight back alone Sever all the threads he's wrought Fetch the fates Storm the gates Written on the pavement: "Worship is enslavement” Reborn out of water Dire, straight from the source Save us, we retaliate And I want nothing to do with it So I'll say The end of a holy war Is a war on holiness I'm remiss, I digress, I repress, I resent that I brought you all here, but we're here  Follow me into oblivion Carry me home
